IVF & Miscarriage

Occasionally someone will ask how many kids you have and you will finding yourself pausing a bit when you answer but that will seem normal in a weird way.

*nods* I used to answer that I had five, but people would to give me the strangest looks when I said two of them were angel babies.

Lots of positive thoughts coming your way for the New Year. Let us know how it works out. I'm so sorry you have had to go through this. I've lost two pregnancies myself, and am very aware of the roller coaster of emotions. All the best to both of you. :rose:

Just wanted to add another voice of support. My wife and I lost four pregnancies before we were able to carry to term, but we were fortunate enough to find out what the problem was and take measures to correct it. We now have two little miracles, ages 6 and 7, and I can tell you, we treasure them all the more in light of the losses we experienced.

I can't really give you any advice on coping, because I didn't cope well with all the heartache we went through, and there was a time after the last miscarriage when our relationship was truly tested to its limits. All I can say is that the experience cemented us later on, hardened our resolve, and taught us that together, we could survive anything.

My best wishes to your family.
