Yesterday I was walking down 47th street away from times sq to go back to work. I pass this guy with a bucket asking for donations and a backpack. He's just walking down the street.
A few minutes later as I'm approaching the interesection of 47th and 6th (1 avenue block over from times sq) he walks past me...but there is a bird perch sticking up out of his bag with a parrot and a cockatoo sitting on it (live, not fake) and he has a snake across his shoulders, hanging down like a scarf.
I stop dead in my tracks. ok, so maybe the snake was in the bucket, I can believe that. But where were the birds????
