I just thought it was odd that you mentioned all your degrees, but not what they're in. You said you brought it up so the lady would know that you can talk about more than sex......well......are you gonna talk about how many degrees you have? i don't think you owe anyone an apology. that's of course my personal belief. i didn't take it that you were excluding anyone, but rather, it would be nice to have an educated woman. true, there are exceptions, but in a lot of situations, education does add to conversation as does profession. yes, there are exceptions and the exceptions are nice. however, wanting someone who has a degree or degrees is not a cardinal sin. Besides, if someone doesn't have a degree and is just as witty and intelligent and could engage in thought provoking, it doesn't seem to me that the individual would be offended by your statement.

then again...that's just my viewpoint
