I've just discovered that I have no tolerance for hot wax.

A friend of mine recommended dripping hot wax on my nipples as a form of self-pleasure.

Nope. The pain was excruciating. I tried it on my stomach as well, but it just... omg, it hurt like a bitch.

Those of you who play with hot wax... is it something you had to condition yourself to take, or have you always enjoyed the feeling?

OMG!

I just had this conversation with my "friend" on the phone the other night!!!! Ummm....ouch, hell no! I just don't get it!

is this like when your mother would ask "If they told you to jump off a bridge, would you do it".................I never have understood the wax thing........hurts me just hearing about it...............

I believe you should use beeswax candles, but I may be mistaken.

I am not sure what sort of candles ....*blushing*

But, I do know that there is a difference in terms of what sort of wax the candle is made of.

i think you should pour off the excess wax before you let the wax drip from the candle then its not quite as hot otherwise it could burn

I haven't done it for years, but it was something I enjoyed right from the start. Then again, I kinda like a little pain now and again. It does matter what wax they're made of.

You need to make sure you use the right kind of wax/candles.

Also - at least for starters - try not to hold it so close to your skin when you drip it - hold it up a foot or more away - it will cool off a little before it hits you.

I love wax play.

Do what the others said and get further from the source, letting the air cool it a bit before it hits your skin.

It helps if you enjoy gentle scalding of skin. If not, stick to room temperature toys.

I do enjoy moderate amounts of pain... so I think I just need to experiment with different types of wax and different distances. I mean, I really enjoy watching a deep burgundy wax being dribbled on pale skin.... and I've got pale skin.... and I believe I'd love the feeling if done right.... so it's trial and error from this point in.

I love wax play. There is just something 'biting' about hot wax hitting your skin. The pain doesn't last long, and it's so erotic.

This is the kind of experience I'm going for!
