So I put her true story in the strap line...

Bosh rejected.

Just removed the word True from the strap line and it's published tomorrow.

It's honestly no great loss.

Were it allowed, it would be both wildly overused and roundly rejected as proof.

If anything, it invokes an even more critical eye.

Write it true, then it IS true (or as good as true can ever be to a story listener.)

Yep, even a title such as "True-Blue Friend with Benefits" would likely face rejection. The system would automatically assume it was a true story about your blue-colored friend with benefits.

The only story that I have ever had rejected was due to the title being considered a website URL even though it was written as "FamilyFornication Dot Com" and obviously not a linkable URL. An easy fix, but as you said, a learning experience.

I've never ventured into the sci-fi category but I always like a new inspiration.
