Sorry, that post probably made zero sense.

I was meaning to convey how the bane of the General Board (keep notes here, in case someone feels like stirring up the sharks) is when people with zero posts go over there and ask what's up with the chatroom. Anyone doing that generally gets attacked.

It's the same here, when someone posts a BDSM Personal Ad in the main BDSM forums. They get viciously (and often humorously) attacked.

Well, there is SOME difference between asking why the chatroom isn't working and not being literate enough in a forum called LITerotica to be able to read a list of subforums and find the ones called "Personals." At least we often attack them humorously :blink:

I guess that question could go into the help section, but what I don't understand is why the GBer's have such a tantrum when "junk" gets "dumped" into their forum when it doesn't belong anywhere else. I mean, the discription says something along the lines of "if it doesn't go any where else, it belongs here".

Well, they've come to define it as their little place... and, unfortunately, the signs on the door don't really give proper warnings or descriptions of what the club inside has become.

We should really have a sign in the main forum that says "If you're new, come to the Playground until you get a feel for the lay of the land."

Let people walk in the shallow waters, so to speak.

Ah, ok. I guess every group has their pet peeves.

At least we try to refrain from murdering the people who come in and ask AGAIN how to tell their SO they're kinky.

honestly, outside the bdsm forum and the obviously gay / lesbian section, i can't tell what goes where...for us noobies it's very confusing. no-one seems to stick on section properly much....
