missing, in case you all haven't noticed. I put something in some thread somewhere about what's going on, but it's come to my attention that not everyone saw that, so I thought I'd start a thread so that no one worries. And I'm sorry for worrying those of you who don't know what's going on.

My phone got turned off. K's only getting part time right now, so I can't afford to get it turned back on. I was hoping when we moved that I'd be able to get it turned on here, cause I thought I'd never had an account with verizon, but I found out that my sister had an account with verizon in my name. (I gave her permission, but didn't realize she still owed on it.) So she's gonna get it paid off on the 5th, and then I'll just have to hope they don't ask for a deposit, or it'll be even longer till I get it turned on. *grr*

I get to the library about once or twice a week, so I've been able to occasionally get on. Hope everyone's doing ok. *hugs*

I was tempted to make a lot more faces, but Lit won't let me make as many as I'd like, so I figured I'd only make a couple. *grr*

Ok, I've got the money to get my phone turned on, but if I could just get verizon to get their heads out of their asses I'd already be online. *sigh* I'm on a library computer, again, and have to leave in 20 minutes to go get my daughter-by-another-woman from school.

So here's what's going on. I was gonna 'dry loop' dsl through them, but my cd rom isn't workings. So I called to see if I could do it manually but the guy who was 'helping' me had a very heavy accent and I couldn't understand a word he was saying. So I call verizon and told them I don't want dsl that bad, and could they just give me a regular phone line and dial up? that was two weeks ago. Supposedly it was going to be switched last week, but it wasn't. I called them and they said that sometime in the next few days someone would show up to look at my phone line. joy. That someone didn't call me, so I wasn't there whenever s/he showed up, assuming they did and didn't lie about it. So today I called, and some guy said 'oh well you need to do this and this. . .' and then he transfered me TO A 900 PHONE NUMBER! (Ok, I'm weak, I had to put more 's) I called back, and they said that on thursday soemone will be out again. Quite franklly I'm going to see if I can find someone else to turn my phone on with. Cause I'm about fucking done with verizon. So that's what's up.

Oh, real quick. *gobbles cookies and gives Aeroil a wedgie on my way out*

when my net went down, I tried the help lines and all 3 of them gave me nothing but busy signals for 2 days...so my mom got on at work and contacted them via a live chat help line. They told me that some one would call me with in 48 hours. Guess what, they didn't. So and I was still just getting busy signals. So mom got on the line again and this time they said they would send some one the next day. Well they did and it took him all of 4 mins to fix but I was with out net for a week!

in otherwords I feel your pain.
