Well spank my ass and call me Robbie...ya know I didn't know whether to be pissed or flattered in having my work stolen along with the likes of DCL, Jennifer O. Kinney, Curvy Q, HSWriter, etc. etc...

Eventually I opted for pissed. Thanks to everyone who left comments on this person's diary pages informing others that her claim to fame is a sham...you know DCL, I thinik I met a Marvin from Tampa once, a real mouth breather that one, so it wouldn't surprise me if your assessment of the plagarist was accurate.

What get's me is not only is this yahoo a plagarist, but a lazy plagarist at that...stealing only from the Top Lists. I guess he/she felt that the best way to approaval was to use a proven commodity...but it would have been easier to stay anonymous had they used lesser known works, which I suppose, in the long run, is why they plagarized in the first place. A lack of enough intelligence to do more than cut and paste and act like it's yours...

ooh ooh look everybody, I just wrote a classic (cut and paste your favorite Dickens quote here)

Now if you will excuse me, I intend to write a few strongly worded letters to OpenDiary.com, and one NaughtyBlondBabe@aol.com
and I suggest that others do so as well...even though Laurel is on the case, you can never apply enough pressure to a thief.

I've added my comments to the site operators.

I recognised every story on that site as being from Lit or asstr.org. None of them were written by the owner of the diary.

I think it's interesting that the stories violate the site rules, because they are all x-rated and the rules specifically state that nothing more than r-rated is allowed, and no links to anything more than PG rated are allowed.

I suspect the site will be gone in a few days if the site operators enforce their own rules.

DCL, I just read about this and It is so bad! I'm sorry you had to experience this. I really like your writing, and this should be nipped in the bud. I looked at the site through your link and then looked at some other postings. I found one that had been placed on this site on 12-16-00 by ABADDON was placed on their site on Christmas Day. It had from the supposed author, a note, "I just completed this and here are the installments, Merry Christmas." The title was "Getting To Know Mom" I thought I'd read it here earlier and came back to check the date of the posting here and the title.

Good Luck with the attempt to remove these.
