I've been getting PM's...so, Update.

LOL

Well you have to admit, if you look fast, Jakse looks like Jake...

I know. Believe me, I've had several people say things like "Jakes", "Jack", "Jake", and my favorite: Jaske. I can understand all the mispronunciations, but I'm not sure how people look at her (even in PINK clothing) and say, "Oh, he's beautiful." WTF? It's different when she's wearing blue or some other color...but really. Wearing pink? I had a lady ask me (mind you, Jakse was wearing a white onesie with pink piping and pink flowers and wrapped up in a pink blanket) "What did you name him?"

All babies are cute but Jakse is beyond. What an adorable little face. If it didn't fighten her, I'd go my giant smilie kiss. But here's a little one, instead.

Dad

Hey Dad. She's used to big, loud smackeroos, thanks to me. :D But she snuggles into those little ones, too. :rose: :rose:

Hey Trini, thanks for the update. Even those of us who don't know you well, wonder how it is going.:) Glad it is looking better than expected back when she was born.

I know you...aren't you in the Vibe a lot? I need to hotfoot it back over there before GiGi kicks my butt. :rose:

It is looking better. Speaking of which, she's having a sleep study done as we speak. Tomorrow is her bronchoscopy. I'll probably be staying at the hospital again tomorrow night since she'll most likely be feeling shitty after her anesthesia. Also, I think we're teetering on the edge of RSV. She's had a low-grade fever for a couple days now.

Really good to hear that things are going well. RSV is a bitch - Spidey ended up in the hospital with it at three months old....hope it's just a fever and nothing more complicated.

:rose:

Didn't get your email. :(

Would you consider re-sending it if you have the time, please? :rose:

Another girl in Jakse's room has RSV. That "staying three feet away" nonsense is bullshit. How long was S in the hospital?

Yep, the Vibe is my usual hang-out. Thanks for remembering!

What is RSV? I am thinking it's a respiratory infection, but I am way out of the loop on baby stuff. My baby is in 3rd year university:eek: Best of luck on her procedure. :)

Here I am, briefly.

Jax is okay. Teething now. She has three teeth, and the top two are getting ready to break through, so those of you that have kids know that she's totally inconsolable most of the time. Poor girl. Anyway, she failed her sleep study oh so long ago and was put back on 1/8 liter of oxygen. Her bronchoscopy showed significant lung damage and intermittent lung collapse caused by her heart to her left lung (the good lung, as luck would have it). Monday morning at 8:45 a nissen fundoplication is scheduled which will (supposedly) stop the reflux and any further lung damage and hopefully get her off oxygen.

In other news, Jax rolled to her side on her own for the first time on Feb. 12th. Additionally, she has finally gotten the hang of lifting her head and sometimes her chest off the bed when placed on her belly...though she still doesn't like it!!

I'll update as much as humanly possible.

Peace.

Thank you for the update sweetie... I saw you post elsewhere and wondered how you and your sweet one were doing. I hope monday goes well for you and her.
