Itsy bitsy toys..

I have a remore control for the TV (that's television - somehow I feel the need to explain that at Literotica,) a pen, a nail clipper, and an empty glass. I use the file on the nail clipper to dig out the keyboard smegma.

Pretty boring stuff as far as computer accoutrements go. No toys.

I have a Bagpuss, a droopy eyed dog, a mouse and a teddy bear. I also have a whistle.

I have a tiny pewter gargoyle (maybe an inch and a half tall) that sits on top of my monitor, and does guard duty.

Numerous hair clips, ponytail holders, etc.

A Grateful Dead collector's bear (a panda)

A Hotwheels car that looks just like my r/l car.

A lego H.Potter, a lioness and a thousand empty cig packets.

To the left (in a glass cupboard) about 15 dragons of varying sizes.

Gauche

2 hotwheels fire trucks, several garfields, a snoopy, a tigger, 2 knight figurines standing guard on either side of the monitor and a calvin and hobbes cartoon taped to the computer case.

God, I haven't heard that word for years LOL

I have my CD player and my 'piles' of CDs to keep me entertained. One of the perks of being in my profession... free music!!!! LOL

:p

Looks around. There's
- The mains electrical clock with the ashtray that rotates in 12 hours - Why? I don't know. It was just made that way.

- The cube of pictures of the Isle of Guernsey that rearranges to show different views.

- The plastic model of a Sabre jet.

- The 1940s Dinky Toy of a Ferrari

- The Statue of Liberty

- A small brass cannon

- The musical box that needs mending

- 5,000 books (It is a bookshop!)

- The boxed game of 'Footsie' - arrange the blocks to show coupling feet.

- A Samurai dagger for opening the mail

- Three wind-up clocks all needing to be wound up. One strikes on the hour and at 26 minutes past the hour. It is a pre-1914 American clock perhaps designed so you don't miss appointments on the half hour.

- My reference books

CDs, Tapes, LPs, 78 rpm records

etc...

on my computer desk:

- many pictures of my family
- a Gordie Howe autographed puck
- a figure set of the Hansen Brothers from Slap Shot
- a Tony Gwynn autographed rookie card
- way too many computer games that I rarely ever play anymore
- a copy of Sheath's new book
- a Sean Burroughs action figure from a Padre giveaway day
- my monitor is covered by little giveaway fuzzballs with eyes holding "Go Padres" signs. The kids would get them from one of the casino's booths at the games and then stick them on the computer.

To my left is my limited edition repro prop of Anduril from LOTR. A slam dunk gift from the wife. Only 5000 made and already on ebay for 5x what she paid. It really is a beautiful sword. That it is growing in value just makes it fun. I would never sell it.

a mini buda.. i love to rub his belly... sits atop my monitor

on desk... it would take forever to list the pile of pure crap.. i am a slob.
on the wall next to the puter is a collection of magnets:

"jane knows connie. she doesnt care to know dick."
"mom, is it okeay to turn lesbian on the first date?"
"i'm cleverly disguised as a responsible adult"
"thanks for making the rest of us look good."
"the more you disapprove, the more fun it is for me."
"domestically challenged."

the list goes on and on.. oh yeah! i forgot.. the beady buddies my girls make. they reproduce at phenominal rates!

"The Evil Queen" (from Snow White) has pride of place atop my flat screen. All round: a bust of LvB, a photo of a Yorkshireman (don't ask), muertitos, a photo of The Earl (don't ask), Frank O'Hara's Lunch Poems, a pile of CDs, a salt shaker, my meds, a red lipstick (for when I leave it at home), a small statue of the La Virgen de Guadalupe, a Venetian glass sculpture, Nunzilla, a photo of my niece at 11 (she just turned 13), a pez holder with Yoda's head, lots of post-its to remind me what to do.

Ohh, you lil' bitch! Damn you! Damn You! ~~~running to the stereo to put on some U2 to drive that sound out of my head...~~~

I love you DM, but you are going to have to pay for that one...where did I put that whip?

An empty wineglass, half a carafe of vin (very) ordinaire, an empty black ashtray (healthy habits, but missed the nazification lessons), a handbill of a new headliner overdrawn in lead pencil with a moustache and beard (self expression) a three-inch stub of Ticonderoga lead pencil, and my right foot (personal yoga).

Ask again in a couple of hours and the answer will be totally different.

Very little.
I just moved in, I'm just grateful to have a desk and my comp up and running.

Mobile phone, pile of blank CDs, note pad and pen, empty glass (brandy and coke), my camera (just downloaded stuff), my glasses (I can see better without them when working on the pc, and my wristwatch.

Behind, around, each side, I am hemmed in with a mountain of boxes containing god knows what. Over the next few weeks I will find out. One box contains the sound system for the pc...so many cables its like spaghetti junction in there....and my printer....and scanner. All very boring.
