I just noticed yesterday that the blue button no longer says tweet, its says post. That could have been there for a bit, I'm not someone who's on there 24/7 like so many are.
The X thing confused me, like why bother, what's the point? I had someone tell me that the theory was he replaced the little bird because it was cute and represented when twitter first started and was fun, now its a cesspool of hatred all driven by the self righteous right and the intolerant screeching hateful left.
Not sure if that explanation has any truth to it, but I agree with it. That poor little bird doesn't deserve that.
This forum is a microcosm of what twitter has become over the last few years. Two mindless hatefilled factions in full attack mode, full denial of the sins of their own side, and full of keyboard courage.
Good job everyone. Your desperate need to belong to something and get approval from like minded jackals led us to, and keeps us, in this mess. But all that matters is you can blame someone else.
