Sorry you’re having difficulties with the platform. My feed has been working great with no outages, performance problems, or technical glitches. All of the people and organizations I follow are still posting regularly.

Of course there is still content that gets blocked or filtered. That should not surprise anyone. Musk has said all along that there would still be content moderation and that he didn’t plan to turn Twitter into a “hellscape.” And there have been instances of inconsistent application of standards, as well as some outright silly moderation practices. Overall it’s appears fewer people are being banned and more content is being allowed. The fascinating aspect of the massive layoffs is that I have not seen any drop off in performance, reliability, or functionality. It’s pretty clear the company had a bloated workforce under the old management which is not uncommon in Silicon Valley.

Content pushed to users feeds are a fact of life with social media platforms. Yes, I have seen some tweets from Elon Musk in my feed along promoted content. No more than the usual volume of spam that’s always characterized Twitter and other social media apps.
