We need to bring most troops home from overseas and stop interfering in other countries' business. As George Washington advised in his Farewell Address, we should maintain amicable relations with all nations but avoid entangling alliances and foreign conflicts.

George was a visionary centuries ahead of his time. Will we heed his advice?

America First also means fair trade and ensuring our workers a level playing field with foreign competitors. Its not realistic to expect our workers to compete with countries where the average wage is $2 or less a day, that's not free trade, that's a crime. Fair trade tariffs would create a level playing field based on the average salary in the production country of the good, component, or service.
