It's Time For Rosenstein To Go

Prediction: It's just going to go away.
The Democrats are now in full scorched-earth mode.
If Trump fires anyone, they are going to go full Kavanaugh on him.
They've already made sure that he won't be confirmed by October 1 which is a SCOTUS victory because all 4-4 ties will go back to lower courts which are still, thanks to President Obama, mostly nuttier than rat crap in a pistachio cannery.
Trump knows that if he fires anyone other than perhaps Sessions, then the media is going to go full-blown mental over Trump's move to obstruct justice and the volume of press and punditry screaming for impeachment. No one wants the truth, they just want Trump destroyed and lame-ducked.

Seems to me like it is time for Tricky Trumpy to go, not Rosenstein.

We have a pathological liar for a POTUS. He is unstable. He is a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot. I am happy to wait until 2020 for his eventual ouster if only so that the deplorables can't (or have less reason) to bitch about it. But far beyond that elections matter and the process and the system have my respect, if not the man. He is an asshole of the highest order and a self deluded one at that. Since Sessions was complicit by not coming forward with Russian interference during the election, I am glad Rosenstein is there and glad we have Mueller rooting out bad actors. In the meanwhile it is unsurprising that rational people voice rational countermeasures to his irrationality.

One of those rational counter measures will be to flip the House and perhaps the Senate away from Republican control so our system of checks and balances can reassert itself.

As far as the NYT goes, that anonymous editorial about the "adults" managing Tricky Trumpy, taking documents off his desk, etc and now this have left a bad taste in my mouth. I'd certainly prefer some reporting by people with names and faces that come forward to blow the whistle. Short of that there needs to be a whole hell of a lot more corroboration before these assertions get ink, IMO.
