If war in the Middle east breaks out and there's problems here because of it, Kamala has zero chance. Her polls might look good because of her honeymoon period with D voters, but if there's a real war, voters know she's not a strong CinC.

Gene Sperling worked in a niche government field....child tax credits. He helped craft tax credit policy for Presidents Clinton and Obama (in 2010, he worked with some government attorney named "Kamala Harris" on some legalities, go figure). He came out of retirement in 2021 to manage the Pandemic Tax Credit programs at the request of newly sworn in President Joe Biden to fix the mess Biden inherited from the disgraced former president and convicted felon Donald Trump.
The Pandemic Tax Credit ended in April 2024 and was wrapped up in June 2024. Sperling's work for the government was complete. He is now leaving a month later to work on Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.
Godspeed Mr. Sperling, and thank you for your service. You spent your career making things a little easier for those needing the most help in society.
And "Election Watch"? I hope someone runs over your dog today.
