Looking at the online news I read a headline whose site I couldn't open to read the article. But the headline was enough to launch a horrible plot bunny for a Halloween story.

In a nutshell, a coven? of British witches announce their plans to curse the new American President. The President reads the article and later learns his CIA wizards created a drug that induces permanent killing rage in all exposed to the drug. He has the CIA locate the witches and waits for a get-together to bomb the perimeter of their site with the drug. They savagely attack each other and everyone else.

Yep. And there would be English twits in their Secret Service who are just exactly that stupid too.

Boy could I tell you some cool true stories about MI6 in recent times who have tried fiddling around with covens and things - supposedly to 'pry' into what some high-placed individuals were doing in dark places, but I think they were just curious and leering. And other things...

Every time I tell of these things people jump all over me saying 'how would you know?' or 'you don't know anything...'

Anyway, the morning Alex Allen chief of Signals Intelligence nearly died with blood pouring from his eyeballs on the kitchen floor of a retired Deputy Premier of the State Parliament, he was in my restaurant buying his lunch, leaning his ten thousand dollar Lotus bicycle up against my wall...

There are witches, and there are wannabe witches and there people you would never know to be 'witches.'

Hey, my god, even North Korea employs dames who are handy with toxic compounds.

So yeah, there is a plot or two there.
