It's snowing!

3 inches so far.
In Georgia?? You've got to be kidding me.

No fair...

Everything seems bassackwards with our weather this year......
The kids up here have been waiting all season so far and we have n-o-t-h-i-n-g. Normally by this time we've received so much snow, they are so tired of snow that they are not even impressed with the day off of school a good dumping of snow might bring.

No fair...

Well, was 3 on the car. Maybe one on the ground that is turning to slush as the snow has turned to rain. Still, a flake "sighting" is enough to close the schools.

is snowing here in Indiana too....not sure how much ..not a whole lot, but enough to make the roads all icky and i have to take my son to school *sigh* i hate driving on bad roads....

No snow here, just rain and sleet. Well, it may have snowed last night, but it didn't stick. It's not even raining now. I understand that other places did get some accumulation, though.

We got a couple centimetres yesterday. It was nice fluffy snow but that damned wind sure was biting.

Let's see, during my break I had 3 feet of snow....in two days. And then the next week it was another foot. This was in Colorado.

I move back up to school, and they got the three feet, plus it's been snowing on and off since I got here. It's also been melting, so the sidewalks and the roads are covered in ice.

School closures? What're those?

MMM.. the sun was out.. the sky was blue... had to wear a tshirt because it was very warm out..it had to be in the 60's at least!! I loved it.. smiles..

Here as in where please?? Georgia too? Or??

Sadly no-where near as far south. I live in Iowa... and NOT Idaho, we do NOT grow potatos here lol. Instead we grow corn, lots and lots of corn... We used to have enough snow by this time of year it felt like walking through a tunnel as you went down your sidewalk... now we're lucky to get over knee-igh :(

Yes, but this is Alabama and Georgia, LOL. It only snows here once or twice a year, and it actually sticks maybe once every 3-5 years. Nobody's equipped to deal with it, believe me. We have a saying--"Just because it's possible to drive in snow doesn't mean we are going to do it!" No more often than we actually have accumulation around these parts, we can actually stick to that statement!

Personally, I think it's a good excuse for a vacation. (Though I didn't get one today, since it didn't stick here.) I despise both heat and cold, but I'll take 100+ with 95% humidity any day over this snow stuff. I want to hibernate when the temp drops down into the 50s. Please, Lord, let Spring come quickly!

Snowing here in Buffalo tonight. Have several inches already and more is forecased this weekend. Wind is blowing...it's almost like a blizzard out there. Roads are really slippery. Lots of accidents on my way home tonight, which took me almost an hour--normally only 25 minutes to get home. Got out of my car to stop at the store and the snow blew right down the back of my neck...brrrr... :rose:

When we came back to school in January my teaching partner and I skipped "winter" as a theme and went into "Nutrtition," because there was and had been no snow. At All. Now we'll go back to winter after Valentine's Day. We have a respectable amount of snow on the ground, and even had a snow day, though it was more an Ice day/freezing rain day than anything else. Here, in this board, if the buses won't run, the schools are closed, and we're pretty sure the bus company said no F'in way. I tried to get into my car later that day and couldn't, it was frozen and iced shut, and it was scraped at the beginning of the day, so we're talking less than 12 hours accumulation. It took 2 more days for me to get all the doors open, and the others were from the inside.
We usually get snow before Christmas, but we get the bulk after.
Canada.

Snowing and blowing like a madman

And I know this small park. In the very back there is a small cabin. And just behind it, on a cold winter evening, my "friend" and I laid our coats on the snow, stripped naked and fucked our brains out.

Yes, it was intense.

And I'd so like to go back there right now. Any ladies up for it? W/ just a word my cloths would be off . . .

Snowed in Vermont last night and most of today. J and i went sledding this morning. W/we had lots of fun. Haven't done that in ages. It's fun to be a kid sometimes. :D

As someone still stuck in MI I second that! Of course I'm close enough to the lake to catch the lake effect snow too and am getting dumped on this weekend. I can't wait til I move away and don't have to face MI winters anymore.

Gawd... caela, you were born about a week before I started my freshman year at Moo U. I feel so old now! *LOL*

I had friends in Holland, Benton Harbor, K'azoo, GR, Lansing, Detroit, Ann Arbor... I miss some of them, but I absolutely do not miss trudging across The Tundra at MSU when it was -10 and the wind was howling...

You know there are kink groups in that neck of the woods, K'azoo, GR... Be happy to help you get in touch if you'd like.

we’ve been getting 1 storm a week for the last 2 months now where each time its been dumping around 2-3 FEET of snow. and during the rest of the time the temperature has stayed from 0 to 10 degrees, so nothing is melting... we have no more room to put any more snow... if any of you want snow feel free to come to Colorado and take ours, were sick of it....

What part of CO is that? My parents outside of Boulder haven't reported storms every week. Snow, yes, but not storms.
