Went to my shop and steped on some glass. Cut my toe, not too badly really. But it was bleeding terribly so it freaked out the girl that was there and she called mall security, who called the EMTs out. The EMT looked at me, put a band aid on it and said "there you go"

Had a few beers. Wrote a bit. Read more Katrina news, updates, horror stories. Drank another few beers. Counted myself lucky. As bad as it's ever gotten, it's never been as bad as those people in the Superdome had it. Thank any god/s you like, they're all evacuated now.

Been having trouble sleeping because of all this. It's so close. It could've been me, it could've been any of us.

It's so mixed that I don't think I can describe it unless I get really, really long winded and bore everyone to tears. I like him, but I don't know if I trust him yet. I don't know if he likes me. I don't know anything when it comes to him, which is pretty scary.

I hate being scared of someone but it does make tings interesting... and sometimes they end up not being nearly as scary as you first think.
