The above answer is not precisely true in my case but it seemed to be the best answer in the bunch for me. Okay. It's true. I had to do the eeny meeny miney moe thing between that answer and No - and i don't give a fuck.

Actually, i don't make lists because i don't flirt and i don't giggle and i don't squirm with pre-orgasmic pleasure just because someone, especially male someone's, come near my posts. Oh, and i'm way off into the pervert side of things sexually, too. People are uncomfy with that. And yeh, there's the burden of having and using good grammar i have to contend with, too; that's sure as hell a handicap to making all the lists.

Although I do occasionally make some people's lists, I often feel invisible in light of the people who have been here longer and have a close community of people surrounding them. Sometimes I feel that I'll post something, and it will go ignored. Then some time later, another person will post a similar or the same thing, and everyone will flock to them. I guess that's one of the trials of being a newbie. *sigh*

Sometimes it bothers me, and sometimes I find it amusing.

I love this! All of you beautiful, sexy ladies are really no different than the rest of us...I thought I was the only person here who wanted to be liked. lol I read the results of the poll, and it showed an overwhelming majority of people feel 'invisible' as well.
I think that you're all winners in my book. Witty, intelligent, sensitive, fun, sexy... and you want to be liked, but you're not willing to 'kiss ass to get there'. That's exactly what I like about this place.

i cannot believe the number of kiss arses and fragile egos that post on the board .
i say what i feel and i cannot believe how hurt some people get by adverse comments
some of the better threads are often by the heels on the board .

You know, that's what i LOVE about this place!! I don't really care if I make the lists or not. The people that really matter validate me in many small ways all the time, most of which is on a one-on-one basis. The people that don't matter, well... they just look at my threads and leave without posting

That may sound a bit flip of me but it's true. Just take a look of the one's who have already posted in this thread. *shrugs* They are prime example of the strong independant characters here at Lit that I so enjoy!
