Congrats! I think you can actually get 30 second timers for your computer that notify you with a beep. Wouldn't that be more efficient?

Today is my " real life " birthday and so far it sucks.

My fiance's grandmother died yesterday, and I feel very selfish for feeling bad that no one in the family feels like celebrating my birthday. And while I completely understand why, it still hurts a little.

He forgot it was my birthday.

My family did not even send me a card.

I don't have any friends here to celebrate with.

He did give me a gift though, he bought me a pack of Care Bear playing cards in a decorative tin. I should be thankful I got a birthday gift at all, and I feel bad that I was hoping for something more.

I should know better than to hope for someone to make a big deal out of it. I should just do something for myself, by myself. Take myself out to a nice place for dinner, buy myself something nice .... WalMart has flannel sheets on special. And I love flannel sheets.
