Who is still up?

Unless it's not late where you are. *waves at Europe*

*waves back from Europe*

Nice sunny morning here, no horror stories. Although I have to hoover the car later, which is a horror in itself - it's not quite at the 'team of archaeologists' stage, but....

Just a single archeologist who specializes in disabling traps and stealing artifacts?

Can't sleep so I'm waiting on some damn Benadryl to kick in. Making jewelry while I wait, lol.

Artifacts, eh? I hope he won't be disappointed in his finds...

I've just discovered by the power of auto-correct, that as a Brit, I am supposed to spell 'artifact' with an 'e'. Like this: artefact. I didn't know that! Looks wrong....

Ah, yes. The old drugging yourself to sleep. I'm more of a melatonin man, myself.

You'd be surprised. Found the arc of the covenant between the couch cushions the other day.

Strangely, I did know that. But I frequently find myself changing British/Australian spelling to the American version at work.

Did you have to fight the Nazis for it? :)

I had a period of working extensively with Americans a few years ago, and I would always email in American spelling with them for some reason. I'm not sure why, now. Latterly I've been working more with mainland Europeans, the difficulty there being all the complicated accents on their names. It feels wrong to leave them off, like you've spelt their name wrong, but I can never remember how to get those characters on a PC keyboard.

(Wow, zzzzzz, are you asleep yet...? ;))

The arc, no. The lost remote? Strangely, yes.

Ha, yeah. I have had to download a few new fonts/glyphs so I didn't get anyone's name wrong at layout. Had a few contributors from Finland.

On a related note, I frequently use the British spelling of "realise." Just seems right to me.

I'm awake! Almost 1:30 am, not bad for Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Yes it's late

Another day slips into the infinite yesterday and in the dark hours we cast our messages into the internet like bottles into the ocean.

More porn here though. The ocean can suck it.

Hmm... I never knew that Dark had such feelings for Lunation. The things you learn at 3:30 in the morning on lit. :D
