It's a beautiful day here. Low 70's, sunshine, and a pleasant breeze. Should be down to about 50 tonight, great sleeping weather, and if I'm lucky, the Northern Lights will put on a show.

If more people here weren't such babies about blizzards with 75 degree below zero wind-chills, they could be enjoying summers like this, too.

Me and my fucking bright ideas. I started out this morning by taking the curtains down in the laundry room.. washing those and then washing the windows. I thought to myself.. "hey, we have paint left from the kitchen I should slap it on the walls." So Mr Freaky dug around in the garage and found that we had everything I would need to get the job done.

I washed the walls and put on some of the primer and decided that it was just to warm to be working. So I ran through the sprinkler with my oldest daughter.. drank some lemonade and checked on Lit. I asked my mom to remind me who's bright idea.. painting was.

Now I have to figure out dinner.. It's to hot to cook so I think when I pick my son up from work.. I'll get something from McDonalds. It's not the best.. but it's free and I don't have to cook

The thermometer is showing 101 degrees still.. I can't wait until winter. I want rain

As far as coming up and going swimming.. that would be great. Would it be ok to bring kids? (Also I need to know what day.. because I have a full month.. but I do have a few days off here and there)
