home, resting because my chiropractor told me to. I took a tumble at work this week (tripped over an electrical cord) and crashed on the floor on my face, and popped my neck out of place. I met this interesting guy last weekend, and I could be out possibly talking to him tonight. He bartends at a local pub and I went down by myself last night, and he was there drinking on his night off, and I talked to him for about an hour before I went home because I had to work this morning. But, since I'm not really interested in dating him I decided to stay home tonight. I wouldn't be against a no-strings-sex arrangement, but I'm not rushing into anything either. It's better to be a little bit unavailable.

So what's everyone else doing with their Friday night-before-Labor Day?

:rose: :rose: :rose: for your aches and pains, carson.

Play coy with the bartender. I imagine he's already lusting. ;)

Tonight I'm at home. My son is playing games with the cats (chase the string, chase the string, yawwwwwwwwwwww) my daughter is online in her room, my husband is out with his players at the first high school football game of the season and I'm waiting on blackhaus7 and his lady to arrive at our humble abode.

Once they arrive and the kids are safely esconced in bed the adults plan to kill whatever gallons of margaritas they are bringing. Hubby will arrive around this time so we will then start on the rum. And the Boulevard Wheat beer. And then the Mexican dip and chips. And then the chocolate.

There will be no survivors.

:cathappy:

Had a crappy day where my ex once again found a way to screw me out of time with my daughter (sorry, I'll be venting for days). Couldn't deal with traffic, so stopped and watched Invincible at the theater (it was outstanding!). Now I must write. My only day off, so I have to get stuff done while I still can.

Damn, I never thought my life would be this interesting...

Just finished stuffing my face with Pizza, not quite done with filling myself with Beer.

Finishing up cleaning a Berretta.

Watching the Cats play tag.

Just re-ordered my new sunglasses.

Smoking a Cigar.

Thinking about heading to bed. (I have to work this weekend, then again I work every weekend.)

Wondering why one of my favorite authors has changed styles.

Daydreaming about one of my wifes co-workers.

Thinking about heading to bed.

Cat

I'm eating leftover shepherd's pie, and (I was) watching King Kong with my youngest, and his two friends that are spending the night.

It's better to be boring, isn't it? Less drama.

My chiropractor is also an old friend of mine from high school/college days. Turns out, he knows Bartender Guy and I'm starting to think I might know him from way back when, too. Even if I don't, that might be a good excuse to start a conversation: "This sounds strange, but do I know you from somewhere? Do you know <insert chiropractor/friend's name>...?"

Reviewing, drinking some soda, and enjoying the full sensation from the pizza and wings I had earlier. Damn, that stuff is good!

Hope you get feeling better, Carson. :rose: And I agree about not rushing into anything with Mr. Bartender. There's no hurry in a rebound situation.

There you go, cloudy! Is that a romantic life or what?

I'm playing old tapes and vinyl. Spent more time on Lit tonight than I have in weeks.

My wife's at work, so I watched a bit of Star Wars while I ate dinner. Now I'm trying to debate whether I should play World of Warcraft or go do some writing. Think I'll end up doing both, as it's still early here, but WoW might win out first. :D What an exciting life I lead, eh? :D

Spidey has fallen asleep face first in the bean bag chair. :D

Friday night. Hmmm.

Talking on Yahoo IM to two people.
Stiff and sore from surgery.
Drugged to the eyeballs on Darvocet.
Thinking about sleeping.
Sleeping is good! It's not fat from my mind either but my bed is piled with laundry.

Ouch! :rose:

Tonight I went to bed early for once, and now I'm shooting the breeze before I go off to my early morning Greek exams. Oh, joy.

I'm writing, listening to itunes radio (this is corrosion), trying to shake a headache, smoking and wishing it would stop raining so we don't float away (tropical depression)

Played some Final Fantasy X but I'm done with that now. Currently watching "Whose Line is it Anyway?" and will probably go to bed early. I might play some more video games, but probably not FFX. I might play some MVP Baseball. In fact I think I will, I haven't played in a while.

I'm not sure, does that line work any better on men than women? :p

Feel better, carson...

This weekend is a totally waste...rain, rain and oh yeah...more rain...
