Halibut season starts tomorrow. We get a whole guaranteed 3 days of fishing this year. That might be extended to 6 if the quota isn't reached. I'm headed out with my brother, son and grandson on Saturday to give it a try. We're also setting the shrimp pots on the way out since that season starts Saturday. If we don't have Halibut fillets we'll damn sure have fresh shrimp.
