It's Father's Day, and Thank You.

Yeah, well, it's no big secret that I'm a single Dad who lives on heck of a long way away from his kids. This Fathers' Day has been much like the other three since I've been a Dad and I've felt pretty crummy all day.

But then when I got home and jumped on here, I found a wonderful note from a I barely even know, really. It was my only greeting for the day and, hokey as it sounds, it choked me up.

You know who you are. Thank you very, very much.

For all the other hard-working, loving Dads out there, Happy Father's Day. You do a Hero's job every single day and you deserve some praise.

Life has a strange way of turning. Keep the faith, do what YOU need to do, be yourself! I recieved a phone call from my only son who is in the Army at Ft. Sill today. That made my year!!!! I'm so proud of him!!!!
