This has to be stopped.

You got that right!

At least in our neck of the woods one month looks like another.

So that's a stop of sorts. :D

I have no idea where I'm going to put a tree this year - or where the box of decorations even is right now.
And I haven't started shopping yet, let alone wrapping.

I have most of my shopping done.... Not one wrapped..
The boxes of decorations all ready to go..
I know where the tree is going...
I just need a few less curve balls so I can get organised....

tree? what tree? Ahh the tree killers out there - you should meet the artificial prelit tree... very nice. It's still hidden behind the couch in a box. and there it will stay until the evening of the 23rd.

I come bearing gifts though.... Very soon I shall be posting 2 new stories!

An English Assignment - Gary passes in a very interesting essay...
Lucky Duck - A quote from the story or rather, an Inspiration for -

~Sometimes, I just want you to walk up to me. Dont say a word. Push my hands up against the wall and not only take charge, but remain in control. I want you to furiously fuck me, no strings attached. Raunchy. wild. And raw. Yes. I'm a girl. We think these things too~

Real trees? Haven't seen one in years.
I know where my pseudo tree is, just not where the pretties to go on it are.

Mine is in it's box, in the loungeroom, where it has lived for the last year... :p

BTW I was being sarcastic about the tree... Not many Aussies I know have real ones inside... Actually I have never seen a real one inside :( I see plenty decorated in the front yard though

We can't afford a tree or decorations. I have a few fairy lights for the window but thats about it

Did the Xmas shopping when I got my bumper first paycheck in Sept... Most of it is wrapped too.

I didn't have a Christmas tree when I left home til I had my daughter...
Now because we had no Christmas Traditions I buy them an ornament per year...

Ok, who's wise idea was it to order over a foot of super heavy snow the night before last?? Admit it!!!!!

Best to drink your way through to January. With luck the alcohol haze will make up for the lack of decorations, you won't give a figgy pudding about presents, and it will anesthetise your stomach ahead of of a badly cooked turkey. Surface on Jan 2nd saying 'I always look forward to a year with 8 in it, such a comely figure.'

Good Luck

J-L, I wish you were closer. I've got tons of stuff to share too. Even an extra tree.

When I was young, the summers out of school was a year long by its self.

When I was in college, finals took a year to get over.

When I was in the Military, months were years

Then I got married and had a family. Time started to speed up. there never was enough of it to go around.

As I grew older a year shrunk to nine months

Now, where did all the time go, it seems like only yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July.

When I look back down that long road to my childhood I find all the time that I thought I lost

It is there in my mind with loving memories.

I just wish I had not wasted so much on things that don't seem to matter now.

Time is fluid just don't waste it.

oh yeah. I am the bes ttime waster there is ...Still haven't gotten that damn driver's liscence...still haven't cleaned my room.( or my house at this point.) and still havent gone to bed.

payed the bills- check
Ate the food - check
had very long, mindblowing sex - check

Now i have absolutely no excuses for the first two.

Sigh...

We could petition Bush to move the calendar back two weeks.

What? It worked for daylight savings time!
