I know alot of you can't stand Christmas and I know alot of people here are very jaded about the whole thing.


I adore Christmas. I have lots and lots and lots of Christmas Spirit. So if you're in need of some this year, you can have some of mine.

If you all were able too, I'd invite you round for Christmas dinner. I'd feed you all up (which immediately works on raising Christmas Cheer levels) and we'd sing Christmas songs and exchange presents and stories and we'd dance and sing and really have a proper Christmas.

So when you're feeling low or stressed over the next few days think of the EL Christmas bash and smile with Christmas Spirit. I'll be around over the Christmas period, so if you do feel low and you need someone to chat to, PM me. I might not get back to you straight away, but I will check in here once each day at least.

I woke up early, so got up, made tea, and am now contemplating making some calls back to home, before everyone is too far gone into the christmas spirit of christmas eve, or too busy. And it is 12.30 there already, so people are either going to be having lunch, or in the case of my eldest, either still asleep because its the weekend, or because he was out late and drank too much.

Trouble is, 5.30 in the morning is not my best time for jovial conversation. I'm barely awake.

Thanks, m'dear. I was. Nodded politely and looked interrested when old Gramps droned on with the same old stories about his days in the navy that he always tell. Stuffed my face with gingerbread and a cheesecake so good it could stop time.

Just a short visit today, the oldies had a dinner witn neighbors and I had promised a low key cozy christmas eve with my lady at home. Got nog, got a stack of movies, and gonna chill the rest of the day out.
