I LOVE this one...

A friend of mine works at a girl's school, and she gave her boss a detention for giving her a spoiler during HP 7. The principal was a good sport and showed up for her detention. The principal might've gotten away with it if she was this cute.

I know two kittens on that site! They're cats now, but they were adorable babies.

We have 2 cats.

CAT #1:
When we met He had this cat. Cat was His. The cat has decided that he is now mine. IYM has His own version of this story. My version: Cat was MEAN. Cat attacked me in our first weeks of dating: I was making IYM's bed.. cat ambushed me. Scratched me. I beat it's dumb ass with a bed pillow .. very hard. Cat was dazed.. licked it's self a bit and stumbled away. From that day on.... cat loves me best... and loves being kissed and cuddled and hugged and rocked like a baby.
He is a hunter cat. He hunts birds. He brings them inside to me. Last time he brought the bird AND the entire tree branch which it had been sitting upon. He is an 'over achiever'.
Cat's name: Dale Earnhardt Jr.
We call him Jr.

CAT #2:
A year ago the neighbor, 'M' who lives in the apartment upstairs and across the hall from us had this cat. We all have balconies. The cat climbs up or down the emergency ladders which are attached to the balconies. It climbs rung by rung just as a person would. It is crazy to watch.
The cat will only enter or exit the house via the ladders on the balconies.
The cat goes will often visit different apartments' balconies to visit the occupants or just to nap in whichever comfortable chair (or plant pot, or cardboard box) is decides is best.
One day a year ago, the cat visited our balcony and decided to come inside our apartment. It waltzed right in past Jr. ... and then past our huge 2 year old black Lab..... straight to the kitchen. It ate a few bites of cat food, then curled up under a dining room chair to nap.
Then I went into the hopital. I missed my cats. It was very nice to come home and see that BOTH were still here.
The cat is still here a year later. Explained to the upstairs neighbor, 'M', that we didn't steal her cat...... it just decided to stay.
Funniest part of the story: Our neighbor, 'M' says that she ended up with the cat in the same way that we did. Cat belonged to her neighbor at a previous address. Cat one day came into her house and decided to be her cat.
She is a very timid cat with people and has come a long way in the past year. She has learned to like being picked up and cuddled and kissed. She LOVES being pet for hours. More of an outdoor type than not. She is very petite but her attitude is HUGE. The cat is very cute, all black and softer than mink..... one ear torn half off. She beats up all other cats except Jr. Odd that he accepted her from day one into his home-- He fights with all other cats outside except for her.
Cat's name: Maverick ..( 'M' named her ). I call her 'Mav' and she responds to that.
