Why February? It seems to me that recognition of Black History was chosen with no recognition of history.

Slavery was tolerated from at least 1630 to the early 1800's particularly in Eastern Canada.

And even if black immigrants weren't slaves or indentured servants they had a tough fight. Basically treated like the first nations people. Promised land sorta disappeared once they arrived etc...

It means I have to read stupid threads about people who don't think blacks should have a month to commemorate their achievements because there is no white history month.

There's also no brown or red history months.
 
My channel selection won't change by much, it's usually up in the 500's with History and TLC.
