The general board has run out of it's usefulness for me, but I have had the chance to talk to some great people:) Thanks all for making it fun for me:) Feel free to PM me if you like.

Catch you on the flip side!

Not so fast

The Board goes up and down, just like the stock market. You don't have to stick around all the time but don't give up on it completely. Go for a while if you feel you must, but check back in from time to time. Things change, especially around here.:)

What are you wearing? :D OH WAIT!! Wrong question, , I meant where are you going? I have not had a chance to chat with you, debate with you or ask what you are wearing. LOL! You can always return, ya know?

Now honey, you haven't been here long enough to make that determination, this board changes all of the time!
I seem to find a thread of some interest nearly every day. Although I admit to "lurking" and not posting much.
Hang around a while longer!

C'mon, man, it's not that bad! The general board fluctuates on a daily basis, sometimes interesting, sometimes boring. Check in from time to time, don't just give up on it!

Hmmm. And i just noticed you, too. Well, i wish contentment and clever repartee for you wherever you land next, BlkPnthr.
:rose:

Hey, all the newbies aren't keepers, guys.
Sometimes the fit just doesn't... fit.
We all know that.

There's a bunch of rusty people here. I can't believe noone has chimed in with the obligatory

Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

ah yes the Grand Gesture, the fond farewell, the tearful adieu...

<shedding a tear>

Seriously, I've been fascinated by this phenomenon for a while now, having seen sooooooo many of these "Farewell" messages in my various chatroom and message board meanderings.

Seriouslier, If you're bored with something, um, why not just do something else? Why the theatrics?

Another one bites the dust.

Normally persons who've only been here a few days don't do the normal drama queen exit thread unless they've pissed people off and wanna flip the whole board off.

So, what'd this'un do? Whose cornflakes did s/he pee in? C'mon, fill me in on the real dirt.

Sorry guys, I won't miss him. I've not talked to him, but I've read enough to say that it won't bug me too much.

Kinda reminded me of Rick Deville, but without the wit and charm and with a lot mroe arrogance.

<shrugs>

Then again, I did a goodbye once too, so what do I know?

Lets see, he registered in Feb 2002

:p

Well, it was a fun 72 hrs. I never even fucking noticed ya.

Yes, JMJ, but you were here long enough to warrant the drama queen exit. :)

You sashayed with a quiet, understated dignity. We all admired you for it. :D

You should have seen my drama queen exit thread. It was a hoot. Lasted about four days, too.

Blkpnthr's just leaving the general board. S/he is involved in a couple of ORP threads.

I would loved to have seen that, if for no other reason than to give you a swift kick in the pants for leaving. :)

Well, sashaying I can handle. Big guys like me don't pince, prance, or flounce well. We do sashay credibly, though. ;)

As Cym says, not all newbies are a good fit.

Un fortunately true. I do hope he's doing better inthe other threads, though. Perhaps less the attitude that he knows everythign and is too cool for school and more the getting to know folks and learning the lay of the land before chewing down on folks. ;)

Peace, guys.

He's a newbie.
He didn't fit.
Maybe, if he wants to fit, he'll grow a new attitude, find a new nick, and come back ready to play in a brand new way.

Maybe not.

Either way, there's lots more where he came from, and many of those newbies are gonna become long-lasting and highly valued members of our little society of perverts.

~shrug~
Sometimes the newbies fit.
Sometimes the newbies don't fit.

And the beat goes on.
