saw this for the first time yesterday its such a wonderful movie very cheesy i know but james stewart is just amazing in it and makes it seem almost believable :)

what classic black and white movies haven't you seen yet ?

shoot, i saw most of the black and white movies when they first came out in the theatres.:D

I haven't seen Citizen Kane.

I love Wonderful Life too, sweetie. The honeymoon scene in their new house with the policeman serenading them and their little rotisserie chicken dinner! "...aaaand dance by the light of the moon"

I went to several video rental places to rent

'All the Good the Muslims/Arabs have done for society"

and

' Peaceful Religion and Tolerance Diaries of the Muslims"

and

'How to live in Peace with your neighbors, by Muhamud"

Curious......they musta been all SOLD OUT

Sexy Girl?

Meet Busybody, a cousin of Hanns.

Busybody? This is sexy girl.

:)

A classic tear jerker...

Never miss it. At this time of the year it means more to me than the song "White Christmas" does...

:D <----- bravely hiding my tears behind a broad grin...

ppman

i got citizen kane on dvd for christmas rambling :) (seen it before though)

i love where mary hides in the bush after losing her clothes and he debates on what to do ... because a guy doesn't get into this situation very often and he feels he should make the most of it :)

Sexy G

I consider you

Bright

articulate

compasionate

but

misguided and naive.

I also believe your world view would be BETTER for the world, then mine.

oh sexy I absolutely love It's a Wonderful Life, just not Christmas without it. I also love how it's like this classic American holiday story and yet it's so very lefty.

we even bought a copy on Christmas Eve.

Poor Uncle Billy...too much Bourbon:eek:

Watched it with my 10 year old this year

It's the first Christmas he's seemed old enough to sit still through it and watch and learn. He was confused a little - the whole "you've never been born" thing - he was as confused as George Bailey was for a while! But he did enjoy it.

I think of my daughter though when I watch it. She was born on 12/22 and I watched it Christmas eve in the hospital with her - she slept though it then being only 2 days old - but I still remember laying there in the bed, craddling her in my arms, watching the movie by myself. Hubby had gone home for some much needed sleep by then.

Mary: "You like every boy!"

Violet: "Well what's wrong with that?"

Should I be worried when my 14 year old (the daughter mentioned earlier) said she likes Violet and her way of thinking!!!
