Items you refuse to skimp on...

Soda (Has to be Mountain Dew. The knockoffs aren't as good)

I'm pretty frugal otherwise.

Cheese.

None of that plastic tasting cheese.

Preferably freshly sliced 😋

Alcohol. That makes me sound like I have a dependency, I don't. I'd rather go without than drink crap booze.

Trainers. Again rather go without that buy cheap shit. I may not have an alcohol problem but shitting hell do iave a problem with buying trainers. Most people here would call them sneakers.

Audio-visual equipment. Research, research, research. Save, save, save. Rather wait a year to get the right thing than buy cheap now and buy again later.

Coffee. One of the first things gets into my body at the start of the day. It needs to be delicious. No brown watery, mass produced, sugar/syrup masked crap...

Likewise. The better roasted the better it tastes to me. And the coffee fragrance has to deep.

Shoes, but it's less about looks, more about comfort.

Drinks ( non alcoholic.) I drink more than I eat, so I do definitely spend money on quality tea, juice etc.

Kayaks - I never buy used, and only buy quality kayaks. I don't trust cheaper models and know they won't hold up over time.

Kayak paddles - I only use Werner Paddles and only the higher end models

Safety equipment

Kayak gear

Dog and Cat food - can't be feeding my pets crap. They get only the best

Food

Wine

Totally 💯!

Bed sheets. I spend at least 8 hours (a third if the day) on the bed (whether sleeping or fooling around), so clean, soft, and velvety sheets is a must; no skimping :p
