My wife and I are interested in her becoming and staying shaved (more than the usual trim) her concern is that it will itch and be uncomfortable. Any advice?

When you first start shaving it can become a little irritated... but keeping shaved keeps this at bay... I've been shaved for years now and don't have any trouble cos I dont allow re-growth.

Top tip always make sure you use a sharp razor!

I was always worried about the "itch" factor so I never shaved. But then I decided to try it and I've never had a problem with it. I'm blond so I don't have a lot of hair anyway so that may be the difference. You could try just shaving a small portion and see how it feels when just that portion grows back and then take it from there.

You also might want to use a product called Bikini Zone when you first start shaving regularly.
It helps to clear up bumps and rash that can occour because the skin is not used to being shaved. Any itching you get at first will go away if you keep yorselves shaved on a regular basis.
I have been smooth for many years and it is the best.

If your afraid of the itch, and I'll admit, after a few shaves it really doesn't itch that much. Try wax, it's quick, painful for the first couple, and the hair will take alot longer to regrow, as well as not be as thick.

Good luck, and.. Do we get a picture.. :D

I second the recommendation on Bikini Zone. If you aren't able to find it or would prefer a slightly cheaper alternative, Witch Hazel rubbed with a cotton ball on the area will help avoid the itchies and irritation.
