. . . it wasn't so pathetic.
A story of mine, 'Curiosity is not becoming, Kajira', written for Mat's Rainy Day Challenge, is in Celebrities. It's there, I think, because I used author John Norman's world of Gor to set my story in, and Lit doesn't have a Fan-Fic section.
The story was quite well -received by the few who voted and I received some nice comments on the story, but it ran out of steam at 27 votes, albeit with a lovely high average of 4.85.
Somebody doesn't like it. Fine, their decision. 28 votes, 4.71. It doesn't take a mathematical genius to work out it was a one. As I say, their decision. Then Laurel does a troll-sweep. Back to 4.85/27. Within the day my 'fan' comes along and it's 4.71/28 again. A week or so later, Laurel sweeps again. Back to 4.85/27. Within the day, 4.71/28. This has happened three or four times now.
And now to the point of this rambling missive. Would one or two of you nice people care to go and read it and give an (honest) vote, just so I can see some different numbers!
You'll find it here.
Edited to add: I'd forgotten it was five Lit pages long!
