is immediately tainted as a pariah...

From today's Observer:

Tutu attacks Blair on Iraq

Gaby Hinsliff, chief political correspondent

The Observer

Archbishop Desmond Tutu will attack Tony Blair today for his 'mind-boggling' support for military action against Iraq, amid signals that British troops are to be ordered to the Gulf within days.

We Brits have tried for nearly a year now to get him to back away from George if he wants to have a political future, but he just won't listen...

Kids! What can you do with them?

You're right. Bring back Margaret Thatcher. She's the last good PM you've had.

I love getting near bush. I really like it when they kinda trim it into a pattern... yanno, like a landing strip, or shave their lips but leave that mohawk on top? Mmmm yum.

God bless Bush.

That has nothing to do with world affairs. It's an opinion, just like yours.

Teach your wanna be stooges how to admit to something.

It's boring watching red and dingo abandon threads when they are defeated.

We Brits?

Speaking for the minority again p_p?

Last two polls I've seen put support for the Government's line on Iraq to be just over 51%. Not a substantial majority but more than enough to win an election.

51%? That's more than twice the turn out IN an election!

Maybe that's the way to increase turn out.

Three separate platforms, no messy manifestos to renage on later. Just one simple message.

Labour wants to start a war.

Lib Dems don't want to go to war.

Tories wonder whether IDS, Portillo or Clarke is the right man for the job.

WITH a UN mandate.
Without... much less.

And a large enough minority to say 'we Brits'...
