The wife and I were interviewed on a local news channel this evening at the fireworks.
The Reporter had seen the wife and me wandering around in the rain and decided to ask us why we were out in the lousy weather while so many others seemed to be skipping the fireworks because of the rain.
It didn't take long for my wife to let slip the fact that not only were we celebrating the Fourth but we were also celebrating our 18th Anniversary. That led to our being interviewed in front of the camera in our slickers.
The Fireworks went up this evening despite the rain and the city outdid itself. This was one of the best Fireworks displays the city has put on since I started watching them.
