It might be time to outlaw the NFL before someone dies...

It was a brutal hit.

It is also a contact sport. A player from the other team died on the field when I was in high school. It happens.

Outlaw the NFL? Same with F1 racing and sky diving? Some people like to live on the edge. Who am I to stop them?

I was just searching for a sexy title.

Concussions are taking a toll on the talent. Hockey also sees a fair share of this.

The players train their asses off. Each year they are bigger, stronger, and faster. Technology could be cranked up. Can we reduce the collision impulse with better equipment? Yeah, but only so much. When two helmets hit each other with that much force something has to give.

I saw a foam net that went over a traditional helmet. A high school football player was told to not wear it by the league because it had not been tested and approved. It was big, bulky, and goofy looking. That might be what it takes to keep the brain safe.

Most of professional sports are rigged, and the government all uses pro sports as a political diversion for the masses.

The NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB are all multibillion-dollar for-profit commercial enterprises.

Their sole purpose is to generate as much profit as possible.

I'd like to see an NFL game in every one of the stadiums. I doubt it will happen though because I'm old and am starting at zero. Plus I like the view from my sofa.

But still... it would be a fun project.

Go back to playing with leather helmets. That will keep players from leading with their heads.

These concussions are serious bad news. The more information that comes out about them, the more dangerous it sounds. A lot of these players are going to have scrambled brains, and most of them don't start that far from that.

Well, if Alex Jones says it, it must be true.

Did the guy that got annihilated up above look like he was pulling off some kind of orchestrated play?

The NFL is trying to take over the world like google.

Their games are rigged for the purpose of attracting viewers and making as much money as possible.

No one is going to say that you can't engage in sports like that, it just won't be lucrative to do so.

Eventually parents are going to stop allowing kids to play football & the NFL will be out of money.

It's a soccer conspiracy.

Isn't that why we have drones?

It is!

The NFL is slightly limited in it's lifespan. Participation in youth football is way down and the more studies that come out about how damaging the hits are to your brain the more than number will dwindle. I'm sure it will always be around in some form, but at some point it's going to become a little more gentle or not have the talent anymore.

Perhaps it's time to do away with the helmets and pads as they seem to encourage the players to rely on brute force instead of skill .
