It is late, why are we not all sleeping?

This is only the second weekend I have had off from work since July 2nd.

Staying up as late as I possibly can like I did before I had to act like a grown-up.

I wish I knew. This is the best time of day to me, though. The house is so quiet . I hate to ruin the mood by going to bed.

What are you trying to do?

Close down Literotica? What would we Brits do without you Americans to have a good time with.

Sleep deprivation is good for you!

It stops you having nightmares!

:p

Oh that is part of it too Starfish. Back for another cup. See ya in a few.

'night all!

I'm heading to Toronto and the "Hall of Fame" game at the Air Canada Centre. I'd better call it a night or I'll sleep right through it.

Going to sleep at a hockey game can prove hazardous to your health. A puck to the head leaves a mark!!

Sleeping and bathing are the opiates of the well-rested and fragrant... down with the normals!!

I'm awake because I am waiting for my Boyfriend to get home from work. Not to mention, Tiger gave me a lot of e-mail to look through now. ;)

This is a great time of night to go for a walk. When I worked third shift i used to go for long walks. Its like the hidden part of the world brought to life.

I call this time of day (night?) my own and guard it jealousy from encroachment by any of my family members. It's the only time i have in wwhich i'm guaranteed some peace and privacy; all the other hours of the day are up for grabs by whomever needs me.

This is when i write, read, ponder, post, plan, react, and just, sometimes, sit quietly with my thoughts.

Any mom here would agree with you, Martha. ;)

~amused~ I hire people to paint my walls, clean my toilets, and prune my roses, darlin'. I don't think i'm Martha material.

It's not late for me. I'm nearly always up at this hour. It's easier for me to write about politics when it's quiet. If you email me at 10:30 a.m. though, it may be awhile before I reply.

Well, *checks clock on computer* I just got out of work an hour and 39 minutes ago. Had the closing shift at the grand taco despensing resturant. Now all I need to do is wind down so I can hit the hay.....

10:45 pm here, all is quiet in the house, not a creature is stirring not even a mouse. :D Sorry not Christmas YET is it?
Peace and quiet as the boys all sleep the dreams of boys, climbing trees, kicking balls (soccor balls :) ) kissing girls

Also waiting for 18 year old stepson to return with the car :(
Hopefully sometime before midnight I hope!

Oh, you're in New Zealand, are you? So, Debbie, tell me everything that happened today since you've almost finished the day already. ;)

13 mins till the day ends and you want to know everything that happened today?:D
Well I slept in till 10;30 am but was a woken at 6 am by my 8 year old who is building a skate board ramp ( be warned this invloves lots of hammering, nails and advice from Mum)
I had a shower and frowned at the 12 and 13 year olds who had decided to make up the very long car track all over my clean lounge floor (this is typical kid stuff except my couch pillows and their blankets from their rooms had migrated to make their 'town' more believable. ???)
I made some toast, ensured myself that my kids have had breakfast and fed the cats. Removed from the freezer tonight's tea. (homemade pizza yum)
Today is Sunday, kids have access at their fathers. Drive across the motorway (damn them people driving at 70 and the guy with the trailer!)
Quick grocery shopping and home to my computer, hubby is sitting in front of tv enjoying the New Zealand http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/CU0108/S00094.htm

I turn on my computer and tune into Lit to find damn it things are slow I am logged in but can't seem to get a page to download. Instead I do the laundry and organise tea, do some gardening and water the garden. Cut some roses for my neighbour, watch the older kids on the slip and slide, damn hot today. :) *2 mins till day ends *
:D )
The rest of my day is spent making luches, serving tea, talking to ex as he returns younger child, tucking younger child into bed, a quick peek at Lit, still can't get in :( play Daiblo # instead and say goodnight to older kids waiting stilll, manage to get into lit (yahoo!!!!) and catch up on threads... (now 12:01 waiting still for stepson)

:p
