I've been working on papers for a week and a half, now, and have researched and written two of them. I have one more to go, which I have two days to write. (they've all been done in two or three days, I'm not worried).

However, it's COLD here. I have the heat up to 18 C, and I'm in some flannel PJ's, and I have warm, fuzzy socks on, but I'm just freezing my buns off.

Anyone have any ideas for keeping warm while I research? (Oh, and the bedsheets and one of the blankets are in the wash cus a puppy decided to pee on them, so the bed's out).

sorry for the borring post but here goes, your feeling cold because your sitting down and not moving uch so your circulation has slowed, what you should do is when you start to feel cold is do some press up's and bingo your heart rate picks up a little and the blood gets moving.

CV's idea is not half bad, actually. Do you have any silicone dildoes? They transmit heat beautifully, so if you want to be warm from the inside out, just grab a silicone dildo and heat it on the stove for a few minutes. Let it cool to a comfy temperature, and slide that thing on in.

Otherwise, I recommend a nice hot cup of tea, or some Chicken and Stars soup. Also, you could try taking a quick walk outside. It'll be chilly out there, so when you return home, you'll be warmed up from the activity and the comparative warmth of the house. Plus your brain will be all alert for the final edits.
