It failed the other times I tried, but what the hell? Casting Call: MarvelVsCapcomSRP

Just as the name suggests, I've failed both times to get something remotely resembling a Marvel Vs Capcom SRP up in here. Now I'm going to try again. Anyone who's played the game will already know the vast array of characters (as I'm too lazy to post them up) but you can also put up your own M Vs C characters not from the game. Hell, you can makeup you're own character if you so desire.

Anyways, I'm going to be the evil Marvel son of Satan himself, Blackheart.

Guile, Cyclops and of course, Megaman. They are so the shit. Of course this seems like it would be more fighting than sex, so might me ORP instead of SRP, but that is just my thought.

Well, I was hoping that once we get enough people, I would explain, but here goes nothing.

After the defeat of Abyss, Everyone began to go back to their normal lives. However, they had not counted on anything to come next. For as the heroes left, they also left the spawn of Abyss. Nobody expected the ultimate evil to be capable of Asexual reproduction. However, this new threat is a lot more clever, for it has the ability to produce pheremones that make people too sex-starved to actually fight him. As such, this knew 'unknown' as we'll call it, and assume it's a he, intends to hunt down the Marvel Vs Capcom teams, and kill them one by one. After all, if Sex is all you can think about, how in the hell can you possibly think about fighting?

Of course, like in the previous game, this new unknown has recruited some of the more evil-intentioned people to aid him in his cause. Who knows, he might even use his evil recruits in order to seduce some of the good guys over to his side. The unknown has told the evil guys they could have anything they want if they work for him.

I don't think it's a very good stroy, mind you, but it would explain how to put it in this forum.

Evil Male Monster = Less Male involvement. However, you can always fine a few guys to play, the real problem is attracting women to the thread, as that is what really is drawing the men in. And all male thread in this forum usually dries up toot sweet. That is what I observe.

Also this sounds like it'd be a particuarly violent thread, which isn't bad, it just attracts a different group. )

That was the problem last time, getting the women. Heh, any ideas? Oh, and we're assuming that the Unknown is male, nobody has actually seen it yet.

Well, your best bet would be an overt message about some fetish or three. Rape, tentical, prostitution, domination and control generally gets you a good following....pick anything you want to see in the Rp, post it up and you'll probably pull in at least one woman. The only problem is unfortunatly you might snag a bad one, I don't know of any off hand, but they are out there. But I'm picky, I enjoy long detailed posts (I.e. Little_Golden). Some don't, some do, so who knows. Just pick something and run with it.

And you can always try recruiting women directly, go troll the boards for someone who's writing style you like, and PM em. Can't hurt to try.

Well, considering the circumstances of this SRP, I'm probably going to say there will be Domination, S&M, Tentacle, Rape, maybe some prostitution. Basically, anything you think you can do with this you could.

See, just by this banter your views have doubled, now all you need to do if start the rp. Put the plot to the paper, hint at the fetishes to be taken up in the Rp, speak with authority and players will come. And don't give it a self defeating name...give it something with pizzaz that will draw attention. All publicity is good publicity.
