The Israel and Palestinian 'conflict' should be left alone by outsiders - they are having way too much fun slaughtering each other.
Palestinians moan about the oppression, about how they are being forced out of their homes, the racial abuse from Israelis, that their water is restricted to a couple of hours a day and that there is a hose pipe ban to conserve water, meanwhile Israelis continue to water their gardens with hose pipes and nothing is done about that.... and so... etc...
So they start blowing themselves up and killing twenty Israelis in the process. They get declared martyrs and the palestinians feel a little better at having struck back.
Meanwhile....
The Israelis, having suffered some three thousand years of being persecuted scream 'Persecution in our own land!' and, having taken all those centuaries of oppression, say 'no more,' and launch airstrikes against suspected palestinian terrorist sites and kill twenty palestinians in the process. They sit back, smile, and say 'it's true, payback is a bitch!'
And so it goes on and on and on, Palestinians killing Israelis, Israelis killing Palestinians. Eventually one side will run out of people to kill and then they won't know what to do with themselves.
Until that happens, the undertakers mutter 'What a terrible business this is,' and wonder where they are going to store the bodies and how best to spend the fortune they are making.
Leave them alone folks, they're enjoying it too much to stop. If they really had had enough then the efforts towards peace would not have been disrailed by both sides so many times.
Let 'em get on with killing each other.
Not a popular view, I admit.
