i'm sure this is a rhetorical question but i thought i'd contribute anyway...

i don't know for certain but i THINK that in a lot of cases, it's because we don't need affirmation. what we do need is to be in a position where they need to make a decision or feel as though we're resolving an issue... we like being problem solvers.

i don't know for certain but i THINK that in a lot of cases, it's because we don't need affirmation. what we do need is to be in a position where they need to make a decision or feel as though we're resolving an issue... we like being problem solvers.

That's what I was thinking. I noticed that when my mom would put my dad in a corner he would listen up and change his ways.
