I had shoulder surgery yesterday. I understand why that shoulder and even my neck hurt, but why the hell does the REST of me hurt? Ugh!

Why the heck did I wake up at 2AM?

I ran my eldest daughter to the local Outpatients' Clinic this morning for a six-month check on her cervical cancer threat. She had a minor operation about a year ago.

The check revealed no trace at all of pre-pre-cancerous cells, subject to a second, just-in-case, review of the test results by other staff.

It seems that she is clear and might not need another check for years.

Time for dancing bananas.

Well, yes, I do, in the right circumstances. I just kind of prefer to know how it happened. Yanno, look at the bruises, remember the look on his face, and get a shivery grin. But I got these mystery aches when I was out cold...takes all the fun away!

It wasn't the cake. I wanted to eat it but feeling terrible stopped me. Thinking back on it, I should have eaten the cake so that I could have vomited it back up and not gained any weight

Instead I waited for this afternoon to eat the cake, after some scrambled eggs.
