Gee....that must have been so difficult and demeaning when you had to give your son “the talk” on what to do when interacting with the LAPD.
Lets’s see:
Rule 1- Keep your hands where the officer can see them. Seems reasonable.
Rule 2- Don’t make any sudden moves. You’ll be sorry.
Rule 3- Don’t run from the police. Never a good idea.
Rule 4- Answer truthfully and follow instructions. Why not?
How’s this a problem? I had the same conversation with my son. I explained the officer has a difficult and often dangerous job, and has better things to do than “pick-on” you. The sooner he can safely complete his task, the quicker you can be on your way.
I’ll add Rule 5- Keep your shirt on!

I learned something about the oldest computer in the world.
2000 years old and called the Antikythera mechanism, after the island off which the wreckage was found of the boat that carried it.
It's an analogue computer for working out the positions of the planets and the moon over what seems to be a 19 year cycle.
Bloody amazing.
"More Tea, Vicar?"
As a boy, Hitler tied his shoelaces in little knotsies.
I feel the hermit phase coming on.
Also, McKenna's av is beautiful.
