We are getting the second snow storm of the year here. The first was in October. It was nice not having snow in between, but I don't mind shoveling every few weeks, so no big deal. It's a good way to break up a Saturday morning from becoming monotonous (computer, TV, computer, TV).

And I am also glad I didn't do a heavy leg workout at the gym last night, like I was planning on doing. :D

I have never been so beat from so little shoveling. I guess it is because I was sick last week?

My life is officially in free fall. That 30% chance of early morning dew forecasted for today has indeed become a reality. Worse, it's a very heavy dew. :(

What, you weighed the dew?

Unrelated blurt:

Maybe I should rearrange the office next week.

No. Don't be silly. I was up at 4:00 a.m. this morning watching with horror through my 14 inch Celestron as the dew slowly began beading on my freshly mown lawn.

Barely 40 minutes later, it puddled.

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure that puddles are created from rain. I thought it never rained in California.

Hmm, you can see your grass, mow your grass even. We have snow. Covering the grass. 20 degrees. Would you like to trade? :)

I somehow doubt that will happen.

Thanks. :)

It's a big deal for me...not so much for everyone else. They just assume I'll do it, and be competent at it. I wish I had the confidence in my abilities that others have, ya know?

I do know. :rose:

One of the best martial artists I know sucked as a tournament judge. That could be because he is a king fu guy, not a karate guy, and didn't know what karate people consider good or not...

I'm glad I don't have such problems. I'm more of an egg fu yung guy, so nobody's asking me to judge nuthin'.

Well, I've learned that learning karate and teaching it are so completely different that they're almost unrelated....so I'm expecting to find that fighting/competing in a tournament is going to be totally different from judging one.

I'll do fine, I'm sure. Just first time jitters, that's all. :)
