I just priced a Camaro at a little under $33,000. I can afford this, if I can get approved for a loan. I don't know how my credit is doing these days though, since the last time I used it was when I bought my last new car almost ten years ago.

I can't get a deal under MSRP because the cars are so popular (some dealers are selling them in bidding wars on Ebay for over $15,000 above MSRP  ).

I just wish they came with T-tops. I will have to settle for a sunroof instead :(

But it is still a sweet car :D
There was a black one next to me in traffic last night. So pretty.
I want a Challenger really really bad right now, but we need to be sensible and make some home repairs instead. Stupid adulthood, LOL.

Interruptions, Interruptions, Interruptions

Don't these silly people understand that I'm NaNoing.

Well, yeah, I'm at work but somethings just take priority. :D

Wish I could do that. *grumblegrumble* Still, 10,030 words as of tonight! (And some very inspired writing today... finally.)

I'm not sure whether to be frustrated that my son won't go to bed when sent or proud that he spent the last hour making his own LED pen light to read by.

I need to find a way to get a new match pool at OK Cupid. I'm tired of seeing the same 1000 faces that have already ignored or rejected me.

truth never hurts... just makes the liars look like fools

If you make them defend their stupidity maybe they will think twice about posting it.

I've just returned from a day in France with fifty euros worth of basic French wine in small bottles, enough for two or three glasses per bottle. The wine is reasonable for drinking with meals and cost far less than it would have done in the UK because of differential taxes.

We went over to try to buy some roof tiles for our 1939 house. After searching through a massive builders merchant's store we found several tiles that were close, but not close enough. Eventually we found the tile expert. He told us that we should have gone to Boulogne, not Calais, because their branch store at Boulogne specialises in roofing materials. It was too late for us to do the return journey to Boulogne before we had to catch the ferry back to England.

So now we have to go back to France again. More wine! Another great meal in a French restaurant.

Our roof tiles were made in Belgium, so if we can't find the right size tiles in Boulogne we'll have to try Belgium. Unfortunately the factory that made our tiles was destroyed by the Germans in 1940. But maybe, just maybe, someone makes similar tiles now. Anyway, tile-chasing is a good excuse for crossing the Channel (and gives opportunities to stock up on more wine before Christmas).

OMG we're ranked. We're ranked. We're RANKED. When did that happen?

We're #21 right now. I forgot what it feels like to be ranked. We might actually go to a decent bowl this year. :D *does happy dance*

Cool! What'd you get?

A black '97 (I think) Toyota Camry. Nothing exciting, but it's in great condition and I think we got a really good deal on it. Now I can finally apply for all those jobs I'd need my own car for! :)

Plus it's got power locks & windows, air conditioning, a sun roof and a CD player, none of which I've ever had in a car before. Oh, the luxury! :D
