The universe wants me to hear this message: "the heart wants what the heart wants, and will not be denied." I don't know why this message is being sent to me so insistently, but I'm trying to understand. In the last month, it's been in two films, three books, a book review (not for one of the books I read it in), said aloud by two people in my life AND on both The Mentalist (Gods, I wanna jump that man) and an episode of CSI.

Okay. I hear you, universe. Let me consider.

I keep getting told to have patience. I've realized though that it isn't to just have patience with him. It's for me to have patience with myself. This is going to take time.

I sometimes wonder how my awareness level is always shifting. On certain days, I see people and things with a crystal clarity. On other days, I look and look but see only a vague outline of what stands before me.

Why the FUCK do I still take it personally when my sister disagrees with me? Is it resentment? Is it simply the way she words things? What? :mad::mad::mad:

  • Weird dreams. Time for them to stop. Enough.
  • I just had three bowls of cereal. I woke up with that kind of starving that you have after skipping dinner the previous night because you were having extremely good sex. Instead, I had cereal with warm milk. It was nice.
  • I'm having serious weirdness with my reflexes. This is in no way related to the cereal. I should embrace my super-powers.
  • Why isn't she emailing me back? I know she's online. I hate that stalkerish feeling when you know someone is sitting on a message and not responding and you know they're not busy with anything else. Ugh.
  • What can I do to make today different?
  • I feel like I'm wasting time.

No. I folded them after the flop, twice.

No, the first hand was pocket K-K. Someone had raised to $10, so I bumped it to $30. He pushed all in, so I called to see he had A-K. $165 gone when he caught an A on the river. The two hands after that were just me being dumb and needing sleep to see clearly. J-10 two paired on the river but someone else tripped up on the flop, $150 gone. And another hand I had A-J, someone went all in for $35, I called, and so did the pocket 10-10 that tripped up on the river, beating my pair of A on the flop (and the all-in had me beat anyway with A-K :( ).

I should have driven home Sunday night. I would be up $200.

I had a $20 bill returned to me for being counterfeit this weekend. I think the girl at the restaurant was expecting to see a watermark, but it's an old bill, and I'm not sure that $20 had watermarking back in 1995.

Nothing at all wrong with pushing with pocket K's, dude. Can't comment on the other hands without seeing what else was played, but it sounds like you needed to whack yourself along side the head to "adjust" your odds tables... ;)

I don't regret the kings. That is just the way things go sometimes. But I can tell you right now, I played the other two hands wrong. I shouldn't have played them at all. I should have left when I lost the $100 that I said was my bottom limit, and I should have gone and done something else, like getting some sleep. ;)
