Not very satisfying but I really want to race tomorrow. Its a great course and I am anxious to mark improvement.

I'm so happy that summertime is here. My feet are not cold anymore and I can go barefoot most all the time. The strawberries are in season; they are succulent and delicious. The peaches will soon be in season and I cannot wait to bite into one. Summer makes me feel more alive (a little hotter than usual, but so alive and happy!)

The race went well, time sucked but I knew it would when I slowed down for a former student and for an elderly gentleman in the truest sense of the word "gentleman". That and even the hardcore runners said this course is tough with lots of steep hills and a humid day.

And it didn't rain until I was packing up to leave. Katyusha must have scared off the rain gods for me
