Life

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

I have narrowed it down to one of three things. Either from swinging a three section staff over my head, swinging it around my body, or swinging it behind my back.

And I have class again tonight

It would be the overhead stuff that gets me...torn and shredded rotator cuffs. Everything below the shoulder plain is okay, over my head is not so good.

my friend asked me to design his website for him tonight.
"ok" because, I do my best to help my friends.
he proceeds to make a press release announcing the site will be up in the morning.
"great" no pressure.
it's almost 9:30pm here.
do you think he's sent me any of the info for his site yet?
ummmmm. no!

I'm gonna fuckin' kill him.
and apparently, I'm not gonna sleep tonight either.

That's where I was this afternoon. To top it off, I was the asshole that mowed first, so there was an entire choir of mowers going about an hour after I started.

:D

I started at noon. An hour mowing then a half hour break and read, hour mowing, break, hour mowing, break, hour mowing, break, hour mowing. I stopped at seven thirty... and I'm still not done with the lawn. Got 5 out of 7 pieces done. I seriously need a riding mower, or at least a self propelled.

I'm in a duplex here, so I basically have one huge yard to mow...150 feet by 150 feet minus both houses and garages between us plus a little patio out back and the drive. Takes me just over an hour and just over a tank of gas in the mower. Probably wouldn't have taken quite that long but the fucking week straight of rain and sprinkles didn't let me get out there earlier.

Just a push mower for this guy...no riding mower or self propelled....

Our lawn is huge, we couldn't do it without a riding mower. It was one of the first purchases I made when I moved in. Still takes hours, and we usually split the work into two days.

I was actually weeding for some time today. Back hurts from being on my knees in the flowerbed.

Yup, takes me seven hours with a push mower. Hoping my brother can get the riding mower he was given working for me.

They have neat little things that are for sitting on/kneeling on for weeding. Plow & Hearth has them if not Lowes or Home Depot. :rose:

Hehe. I went to wash hair, dinner, etc. because no one was here and you all come back. Hmpf. :p

Hee hee, they are sneaky that way around here. *shifty eyes*

I'm sure there's some kind of comment I could make about how long it takes to trim the bush if it takes two days to mow the yard.

Seriously though, that's a hell of a lot of yard....what is it like 2 acres of open ground?

Thanks, I'll look into that. :)

I hope you can get that riding mower working - I know how draining a push mower is, and seven hours of it does not sound like fun. :rose:

*snerk*

Dunno exactly, I'd have to look it up, but it's a pretty big back yard, yes.
