I can one up you... try calling (the # for the benefits agency) for over an hour and not even being able to get through. If you manage to reach the automated voice system, you get part of the way and then hear the message that they can't take your call because of such high call volume and you have to start all over. Today, I've actually been calling all day and haven't gotten through. Last week, it took over an hour of calling, and *then* I was put on hold for over 30 minutes. I wouldn't mind being put on hold if I could just get that far.
